Ryan recently informed me that I haven't updated the blog in about a month. Who knew? (Not me!) So here's some of our happenings over the last month:
Alyssa loves to show me everything she finds. After she picks it up, she'll walk over to me and hold it up until I say something like "Ooooh" or "That's soooo neat," and then she's satisfied and will walk away!
Here's my cute big girl. She loves to hear me tell her that her hair's getting long, and she often comments on how long my hair is getting, too!
We have more video than pictures from Alyssa's 1st birthday, but we did take a few. We went without frosting on the cake this time and it was much cleaner! I don't know if that's good or bad, but definitely not as messy!
Alyssa makes this face all the time and I LOVE it! She's usually breathing in and out of her nose when she does it, so it's just really silly!
Here are the party-goers! Thanks for the support, everyone!
This picture is probably blurry because of the speed in which it was taken. Alyssa, like her older sister, does not like to wear things on her head...
...for longer than about 10 seconds!
We've officially moved Alyssa to the big table with the rest of us. I don't think she liked being in the high chair because she was isolated from the rest of us.
She seems to enjoy being at the table. I bought a booster seat with a tray, but Alyssa's so chubby that it barely can be snapped in (even on the loosest setting), so I should've just bought the same one Kaylee has!
Kaylee got some of that Fun Dip candy for Easter (the colored sugar powder that you use a candy dipper to get out) and LOVED it! (I will never willingly buy this for her again!)
